We are pleased to announce that the next BrIAS theme will be directed by Prof. Emilie van Haute (ULB) and Prof. Silvia Erzeel (VUB). They will tackle various themes:
Polarization, division and violence
Democratic short-termism and sustainability
Technology, misinformation and AI
Diversity, inequality and inclusion
They will be joined by their colleagues: Prof. Jasper Van Assche, Prof. Bram Spruyt, Prof. Louise Knops, Prof. Didier Caluwaerts, Prof. Caroline Close, Prof. Ike Picone, Prof. Daniel Zamora Vargas, and Prof. Karen Celis.
A first joint public forum between the current and future programmes will be held on the 5.6.2025 on democratic challeges.
